"I had a very unique tree moving job. I had two California Palm trees I hand carried from Southern California as babies; the first one in 2001. For 13 years I nurtured and protected these palms from the harsh winters of Northern Virginia. The oldest palm had grown 9 feet tall to the tip of its tallest frond. As you can imagine these palms were real conversational pieces growing prominently in our backyard.

Wanting to downsize we decided to sell our house. Knowing no one would have the same attachment as I did for these palms, I doubted the palms would survive if I left them in the backyard. I decided to donate my palms to a botanical garden in Richmond Virginia.

After many calls to landscaping companies and different tree companies I realized getting my palms excavated was not going to be as easy as I had hoped. Almost ready to give up, I called Treemovers. After several calls with horticulturalist at the botanical gardens we all determined the best way to excavate my palms.

The crew showed up on time and I truly felt each of them sincerely understood my attachment. This was very apparent by the care they took excavating, wrapping and loading my palms.
